Notes from source:

Include the narrative arc, plus an explanation of the problem or plot.

Add the characters and how the story ends.

Show good writing skills. Let your voice shine.

Show your unique point of view.

Write with clarity.

I have also added some notes from each source that I think you might find useful.

Source: How to write a synopsis. Via The Literary Consultancy

Notes from this source:

Write a brief summary followed by a more detailed synopsis.

TLC say: Synopsis 350-450 words.

No detailed character breakdowns.

Give a detailed overview that concisely conveys how the story flows and unfolds.

Notes from this source:

The synopsis must convey a book’s entire narrative arc.

Don’t confuse synopsis with sales copy.

Jane says keep it to 500-600 words.

Tell a story the agent/agency will care about.

Understand how conflict is resolved.
