Writing inspiration.

Rainbow meme by Lizzie Chantree

Hello everyone. How are you all? We are all going through strange times, but I’ve been inspired to see how many people are adapting and still finding ways to communicate online and build new ways of operating their businesses. I hope you are all safe and well.

I’ve been working on two new books. I have a contemporary romance book launching next year with my new American publisher and two other complete manuscripts that are out for submission.

During lockdown, I’ve been running writing buddy/sprint sessions for writers, to help motivate us all to get words onto paper. From this I’ve now written half of a non-fiction book and the start of a new romance story. I hadn’t written a word for a week beforehand, but i’ve found it really helpful to write alongside others and have been managing to write my daily quota of words during the one hour sprint. If any of you would like to join in, here is the book group link: Lizzie’s Book Group.

From the weekend I am the featured author on my French publisher’s website, so there will also be a different post here each day. I hope you enjoy them and I will be posting here more regularly now and keeping you updated on my writing news, weird creative ideas and to check how you are all doing too.

  1. That great you are getting some work done, Lizzie:) I’m in marketing editing mode, but have been able to write dome poetry. I feel like its a good time to go back to my short stories. I try to keep up on Facebook and remember reading that post:)

    • Thanks Denise. You too. Marketing and editing are really time consuming, but can be a lot of fun. I can’t wait to read your short stories!
