A little inspiration from this month.

I recently attended a women-owned business event, and it left me feeling so inspired. I met four wonderful people there who told me they’ve always dreamed of writing a book – and they may even join my writing group. Moments like that remind me how powerful stories are and how brave it is to finally start telling your own.

A new draft and a new setting.

I’ve also just finished the first draft of a brand-new book – always a mix of relief, excitement, and a tiny bit of panic! This new series is set in Dorset, because I simply can’t get enough of that beautiful coastline. Every visit fills my creative tank, and I can’t wait to share this story (and a few new swoon-worthy book boyfriends) with you. Let’s see if you can guess the careers of Ali, Nick, Kay and Finn?

A cover reveal and a trip to Windsor.

I have a brand-new cover for The Windsor Love Pact, and I truly can’t wait to hear what you think. If you haven’t started the series yet, the riverside setting alone might make you want to pack a bag and visit Windsor. I loved it so much that I set a whole series there—and with a bit of luck, Book 4 will be out next year.

A gentle reminder for you.

As I write this, my dog Clover is snoring happily at my feet, and my mum – who is also a writer – is tapping away on her keyboard beside me. It’s one of those simple, cosy moments that makes me pause and breathe.
So this week, take care of your mental health. Read for pleasure. Give yourself permission to relax. And if you can, meet a friend for a bookish chat over coffee – those little conversations can fill a day with smiles.
