Hello everyone. How are you? I’ve been working on my latest book launch and trying to keep up with school runs and household chores. How do you all manage to juggle work and home life?
Over the weekend I found time to fit in some writing, which is unusual. I’m currently working on a sequel to a new series of three books, but readers have asked for a sequel to my most recent publication, The little ice cream shop by the sea, so I would love to manage to do that too at some point. That book was a joy to write and is the first book I’ve based in Essex, in the United Kingdom, which is where I’m from. I love the shoreline here and the pretty little restaurants that are dotted along the beach, so this inspired the location.
I’m trying to catch up on some reading too, as I feel that’s so important for a writer. I’m reading a romance novel by Cathy Bramley and I have just had two paperbacks that I ordered, delivered. One is by the lovely Heidi Swain and the other is by my mum! I’m so proud of my mum for publishing her very first book. It’s called Sherebar and is a novel full of magical realism and adventure. If you love that genre, you can grab a copy HERE.
Sherebar book blurb:
Love throughout time.
Sherebar lived throughout centuries, persecuted by his malevolent brother’s vindictive spirit, who was determined to destroy Sherebar and those he loved. His love, life and grief could offer insight to future generations and protect them from a virus carrying, meteor.
Three siblings, Jenni, Joe, and Val, discover a dark secret through vivid dreams, that needs to be to be uncovered. Their fate and that of humanity, is interwoven with Sherebar’s past, but the choices they must make, could threaten everyone’s future.
Their lives interlink and the race to find a vaccine is overshadowed, by the  overwhelming power of love versus hate and finding kindness amongst strangers.
