I have never held a Twitter Party before, but I mentioned the idea to some of the amazing creatives who join me for #creativeBizHour every Monday night on Twitter and they loved the idea!
The problem was…they then asked me what it entailed and I hadn’t a clue! So I have been thinking about it today and here is the plan:
On Monday 12th Dec 8-9pm (GMT) I will be holding a #creativeBizHour Twitter Party.
Here’s how to join in:
Anyone who has a Twitter account can join in, just add #creativeBizHour to your tweets during the hour, (Monday 12th dec, 8-9pm GMT). #CreativeBizHour is trending most weeks, so it’s a great place to meet other creatives, chat about writing, design, food, or anything that inspires you. It’s a perfect place to network and you are welcome to tell everyone about the products you are working on, books you are writing, places you have travelled or ask questions to the people who take part about their work processes.
PRIZES:
Every Monday there is the possibility for one account to win a week of tweet support for their Twitter account or business. They can do this by RTing others using the hashtag and joining in with the chat/supporting others. We are having extra prizes next week, which are:
During the hour we share photos of creative work, logos, designs, photography, fashion and much more. Feel free to still do this, but there will be a prize of a day of Tweet support from my main account @Lizzie_Chantree and the other #CreativeBizHour hosts (with a combined follower count of over 56k), for the most festive product shot or photo that makes us think of Christmas. Make it as Christmassy as you can! It doesn’t have to be a professional photo, a quick snap of something festive will be in with a chance too. It just has to evoke the feeling of the season.
MORE PRIZES:
During the hour, please share some Christmas jokes with us. There will be a prize of a day of Tweet support for the funniest Christmas joke. Make them as silly or corny as you please! You don’t need to do any more than type them on your tweet, unless you want to go all out and make your joke into a picture like this one.
EVEN MORE PRIZES:
Our final prize is for a day of tweet support which we will randomly pick from everyone who likes and RT’s my prize tweet during the hour. The person chosen will also win a Swarovski Crystal Bracelet! This is the prize tweet which will be on Twitter tonight. Just ‘like’ and ‘RT’ to be in with a chance to win.
