I’m thrilled to host talented author Sue Barnard on my blog today. Sue is a well known author and she has given us three of her best marketing tips today. If you haven’t read one of her books before, you are in for a treat, because they will make you want to pick up another one. All of her book links are at the bottom of this post.
Sue’s three top marketing tips:
1. Put your buy links and social media links in your email footer (see below). This lets people know you’re a writer without you having to go out of your way to tell them.
2. Engage with your readers on social media, but don’t bombard them with constant “Buy My Book” posts at the expense of everything else. Let your readers get to know you as a person rather than just as a writer.
3. Sorry to belabour the obvious, but people won’t know about your books unless you tell them. So talk about your books!
